Hospice Northwest Candlelight Memorial Service
Please join us for a non-demominational Candlelight Memorial Service, led by Archdeacon Deborah Kraft and Reverend Randy Boyd on Thursday December 5th from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Church, at 30 South Algoma Street.
In a show of community support and remembrance, AIDS Thunder Bay and Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide Awareness are partnering with Hospice Northwest this year to present the memorial.
As December 6th marks the massacre at at E’cole Polytechnique, Lakehead University’s Gender Issues Center will also take part in the service in honour of the lives lost that day.
This event will provide an opportunity for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one to light a candle and spend a few moments honouring the memory of those who have died.
This service is open to the public.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
The event will also be live streamed. Those who would like to participate via the internet will be able to join us live at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time on December 5th by clicking on the link below.
