Services We offer the following services:
Our goal is to assist and encourage the individual and family in every way possible during this difficult time, and enhance the quality of life. Trained volunteers provide support in the home, hospitals and long-term care facilities, at no cost to the individual or family. This support is available to persons who are ill, family members and friends, as well as bereaved persons who have experienced the death of a loved one. A unique support group called the Circle of Friends is open to anyone living with a life-threatening illness. This group offers peer support and camaraderie in a comfortable home environment. We comply with all current principles of palliative care service, and collaborate with other palliative care providers in Thunder Bay and District to ensure an effective, holistic approach to client care. |
